The Consistency of the KB Racing Cars at Pomona Was Amazing

I’m pretty much a noob when it comes to NHRA drag racing, but I’m learning quickly. I try to follow as many motorsports as I can, so I figured why not follow this one too. Anyway, I hope to be posting more on this sub during this season of NHRA action, usually statistics. I like statistics. Speaking of which, let’s get to it.

In all 4 of their races, Greg Anderson and Jason Line were absurdly consistent. The 4 runs Anderson did had ETs as follows:

1. 6.549
2. 6.567
3. 6.574
4. 6.579

And Line’s:

1. 6.533
2. 6.558
3. 6.559
4. 6.568

With that kind of consistent speed, it’s easy to see why these guys have faced off in 35 final rounds (Anderson has the edge 19-16) and have combined for 132 Pro Stock wins.

Bonus Fact: I was also super impressed with Leah Pritchett’s consistency. Here’s all 4 of her runs:

1. 3.707
2. 3.707
3. 3.687
4. 3.711

Definitely championship-winning consistency. She’ll do great things this year if they can keep it up. I’m looking forward to it.
